Join us at 7pm Friday, November 12th in the Auditorium at Willow River for a free family friendly event!

The students will vote for which movie they would rather see. The choices for Movie Night on November 12th will be: James and The Giant Peach or The NeverEnding Story.

Votes will be counted and the movie choice will be announced soon!

Movie Night is held in the Auditorium at Willow River and free. There will be popcorn, bottled water, cookies and candies available for sale. Please do not bring any sugary drinks or soda. The film will start at 7pm. Check back to find out which film we will see!

Volunteers Needed For Fall Festival

Volunteers are needed for the Fall Festival on Friday, October 29th! Please consider contributing 45 minutes of your time to help make this fun community event a success this year. The areas in need of volunteers are:

Balloon Darts

Bingo

Fishing Pond

Bean Bag Toss

Crafts

Pizza Tables

Air Jumpers

Clean Up & Set Up

With enough volunteers there could be 45 minute shifts for stations.

5:30-6:15PM

6:15-7:00PM

7:00-7:45PM

Please also consider donating baked goods for the Cake Walk.

Playground Equipment Donations

Mr. Grambow was happy to report at the Parent Group Meeting last night that the playground equipment the Parent Group financially supported has been widely used by the students. As a result of having equipment available for children during recess, there has been a much more peaceful environment on the playground. If anyone would like to donate additional equipment, the school would be happy to accept the donation for the playground. Ideas of equipment that the children enjoy include: jump ropes, soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, sidewalk chalk & hula hoops.

Art Adventure volunteers will be meeting for a planning session on Wed. 9/29 at 9:00 am at Hudson Bagel Shop. Thank you for being a part of this fantastic program!

Art Adventure Training Dates Available

To help with Art Adventure this year your commitment is to attend one training session at the MIA mid Sept. and set up 3 classroom visits between Oct. 1-29th.
